Spanish Culture and Language Immersion

A colorful language, the Spanish language is one of the few languages that are almost completely phonetic that make it easier to learn! Gain the opportunity to learn the Spanish language and explore the foundations of the exciting Spanish culture all at the same time at Intraespa Intercultural Learning Center. Our natural approach method makes the language learning process enjoyable and accessible for the people of any age group. With our spirited program you will acquire the knowledge and appreciation of the Spanish culture by indulging in the history, music, cuisine, and so forth of each Latin American Nation. Cultural exploration in our Spanish Culture and Language Immersion may include:​

American Culture and Language Immersion

America, one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world, almost every region of the world has influenced American culture. It is unique in that it draws from most of the world's dominant cultures. Acquire the American Culture and Language through our natural approach method (just as you learn your mother tongue (First language)). Also, you will gain an
appreciation for the English language and culture through history, music, art, cuisine, dance, geography, fitness, and much more. America is known as a melting pot as people come from many different backgrounds and cultures, and there are such a wide variety of beliefs, values, and traditions. Our programs enable students to learn about different aspects of American culture along with language skill, we are proud to offer this programs that are specifically designed to help students to learn about and experience American culture and the American way of life!

Learning a language without understanding the culture is tasteless. It’s like cooking fried rice without the right spices! You get to know something about the recipe, but you will never experience the real flavor. Here, you will acquire not only the language through natural method (just as you learn your first language), but you also well versed with the desired language and culture
through history, art, cuisine, music, dance, geography, fitness, and so forth. All these details give you a new perspective on the language and allow you to learn faster and easier.

Are you interested in learning a new language in a fun, enjoyable and practice way?

​

The Adult Spanish Immersion Course is designed for students who wish to improve their Spanish rapidly and in a relaxing environment. With a focus on Colombian and regional cultural immersion, every aspect of your stays is designed to take your Spanish language skills to an advanced level. Every course you take will be conducted in Spanish in small group sessions (maximum 6 people), thus allowing you to work closely with a teacher, natives, and other students. 

 

You'll also live in housing and participate in activities that provide everyday opportunities to connect course-based learning with the local community and Colombian culture. Come and develop language skills that you'll use in real-world situations in Colombia, such as when going out to eat, monetary transactions, navigating airports or bus stations, taking public transportation, and everything in between.
